DBT Skills Training:

Emotion Regulation

The goal of DBT Skills Training is to help clients learn how to change behaviours, emotions, and thoughts. Emotion Regulation teaches clients why emotions are important, how to identify exactly what emotion you are feeling, how to change unwanted emotions. (9 weeks total)

DBT Skills Training:

Interpersonal Effectiveness

The goal of DBT Skills Training is to help clients learn how to change behaviours, emotions, and thoughts. Interpersonal Effectiveness teaches skills to more effectively set boundaries and ask for help/support, without damaging relationships or self-respect. (8 weeks total) 

DBT Skills Training:

Distress Tolerance

The goal of DBT Skills Training is to help clients learn how to change behaviours, emotions, and thoughts. Distress Tolerance teaches skills to help clients survive a crisis (extremely high distress), and reality acceptance skills for when difficult circumstances are prolonged. (8 weeks total)

Radically Open Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (RO-DBT)

The goal of RO - DBT is to help clients learn skills and social-signalling strategies to achieve emotional well-being. It also emphasizes actively seeking one’s “personal unknown” to learn from our experiences.
