About Tia DeGiobbi

I’m drawn to working with people who feel misunderstood or underestimated. Many of the clients I see are capable and high-functioning, yet privately struggling with anxiety, emotional overwhelm & dysregulation, self-doubt, trauma, or patterns that feel difficult to change. My goal is to deeply understand your story and help you create meaningful change on your own terms.

My style is collaborative, empathic, and active. I believe feeling understood is essential, but insight alone is rarely enough. In our work together, we focus on understanding emotional patterns while also building practical skills and taking real steps toward the life you want. I balance warmth with honesty—creating a space where you feel deeply understood, while also being gently challenged when needed.

I draw from several evidence-based approaches and often incorporate exposure-based strategies to help reduce avoidance, build confidence, and reclaim parts of life that anxiety or trauma may have restricted.

I care deeply about supporting people navigating minority stress, including the impacts of racism. My hope is that our work empowers you to face challenges with confidence, move through difficult emotions, and live more freely on your own terms
