About Kenisha Reid

Joining clients in their effort to explore their challenges in becoming empowered and, ultimately, becoming their best selves has been my life's mission. I have extensive experience working collaboratively with children, adolescents and families in the school setting. I offer a safe, non-judgmental and supportive space for psycho-educational assessments and interventions services.

Focusing on academic, neurodevelopmental, mental health, and interpersonal challenges, I utilize evidence-based strategies. I have supported clients with personal and relational issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, self-esteem issues, stress, grief, and parent-child conflicts.

I hold a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of the West Indies in Jamaica and a Master of Arts degree in Child and Youth Studies from Mount Saint Vincent University. My training has led me to appreciate clients holistically and to endeavor to pursue new ways of helping.

I currently hold a designation in School Psychology as a Candidate Register with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology.
