About Jean Sloan
As a trauma-informed therapist, I believe in the ability of clients to heal from negative childhood experiences, traumatic life events, challenging mental health issues like anxiety and depression and to overcome coping mechanisms like food, drug and alcohol addictions. I believe in their ability to survive grief and loneliness and to thrive following major life transitions.

I typically use Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy as a primary modality complemented with various breathing, movement and meditation practices that encourage mind/body connection and provide critical awareness of our thoughts, our emotions and our body sensations.
Whatever your particular challenge, I believe in you and the ability of your authentic Self to heal. Calmly, confidently and with clarity of purpose, Self-leadership can help you live your best life.
