About Lesley Hartman
I am a culturally sensitive psychologist with 30 years of experience and a specialization in helping people metabolize trauma and turn adversity into strength. I have advanced training in powerful modalities such as EMDR, IFS and Somatic IFS to guide clients to their natural healing potential. I work with what shows up in the body, which has its own ways of communicating and holding pain, as well as with stuck emotions, behaviours and painful beliefs. I work with directly experienced trauma, as well as the ripple effects of trauma faced by our families, communities or cultural/identity groups. I bring authenticity, intuition, deep listening and attunement, and a sense of humour to my work.
