The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is an evidence-based auditory intervention developed by Dr. Stephen Porges. Based on his Polyvagal Theory, and grounded in nearly forty years of research, Dr. Porges created SSP to help people access a grounded physiological state which encourages well-being, social engagement, and growth in learning and therapy.
