About Stephanie Sellars
Hi, I am Stephanie (she/her), a Registered Counselling Therapist (Candidate) with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists. I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and support adults navigating anxiety and stress, depression and mood changes, PTSD and trauma, grief and loss, relationship challenges, and self-esteem concerns.

My approach is client-centered and flexible. I draw primarily from emotionally focused therapy (EFT) and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) with a specific focus in Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD (CPT), while integrating other tools based on what feels more helpful for each person. I often incorporate mindfulness into sessions and make sure that what we're doing feels right and relevant to you. I believe therapy should meet you where you're at and help move you toward a life that feels more manageable, more connected and more like your own. I know how important it is to feel safe, understood, and not alone.

Outside of work, you'll usually find me doing pottery or learning to sew my own clothes. I'm currently accepting new clients and would be honoured to walk alongside you.
